These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bomchai website and the purchase of products and services from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

To place orders, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. You are responsible for keeping your account login details confidential and for all activities under your account.

4. Products, prices and availability

Our products are teas, coffees, mood‑based kits, and subscription boxes as described on our website. We do our best to provide accurate descriptions and images, but slight variations in packaging or appearance may occur.

All prices are shown in EUR and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. We list shipping costs and any additional charges separately before checkout. We reserve the right to change prices or discontinue products at any time; such changes do not affect orders already confirmed.

5. Orders and contract formation

By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products under these Terms. The contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if the product is out of stock, there is a pricing error, or we suspect fraudulent activity. We refund any amounts already paid for a cancelled order.

6. Payment

You pay at checkout using the available methods (e.g., credit/debit card via Stripe, PayPal, or other options).

We process payments securely through our payment providers and do not store your full card details. You agree that we may charge your chosen payment method for the total amount shown at checkout, including products, shipping, and applicable taxes.stripe

7. Subscriptions and recurring billing

For subscription products (such as monthly mood boxes), you authorise us and/or our payment provider to charge your payment method at the recurring interval you select (e.g., monthly) until you cancel.

  • You can view and manage your subscription in your account area, including changing the plan where available or cancelling for the next billing cycle.
  • Changes or cancellations must be made before the next billing date to avoid being charged for that period.
  • We may adjust subscription prices; in that case we will inform you in advance and you may cancel before the change takes effect.

8. Shipping and delivery

We currently ship to Portugal. Shipping options, delivery times, and costs are displayed at checkout.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver within the indicated time and within 30 days unless otherwise agreed, as required by EU consumer rules.

Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery of the products to the delivery address you provided.

9. Right of withdrawal and returns

If you are an EU consumer purchasing online, you generally have a 14‑day right of withdrawal from the date you receive your order, without giving a reason.

However, this right may not apply or may be limited for:

  • Perishable goods or products that deteriorate quickly.
  • Sealed food products that are unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons.

Given the nature of our products (teas, coffees, and consumables), we may only accept returns of unopened, sealed items in their original condition, except where required by law (for example, if the product is defective).

To exercise your right of withdrawal where applicable:

  • Inform us within 14 days of delivery by email with your order number and the products you wish to return.
  • Send the products back to us within 14 days of notifying us.
  • Unless the product is defective or we made an error, you bear the cost of return shipping.

We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned products or proof of return, using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

10. Defective or incorrect products

If products are defective or not as described, contact us as soon as possible with photos and details. Where legally required, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction or refund in accordance with EU and Portuguese consumer law.

11. User obligations and acceptable use

When using our website, you agree not to:

  • Use the site for illegal purposes or in violation of applicable law.
  • Interfere with the security or proper functioning of the website.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users’ accounts.
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the site in a way that overloads or damages our infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.
